Playing Isn’t Just for Kids: Creating events that honor, connect and celebrate families & communities withing our ECE programs – Set 2 / 2 hour – We will be exploring strategies and tools to include all families in our ECE programs in order to make connections with other families, creating a stronger community of parents and resources as well as honoring family cultures and connections to needed resources. We will be exploring techniques to share with families how to support their children through play. Course fee: $100.00
Building Connections with Families: A care providers role in helping families handle stress – Set 2 / 3 hours – Together we will examine family needs and stresses, exploring strategies to support families in stress. How to create and build positive relationships and communication pathways. Begin developing a resource guide to assist parents with strategies in times of need.
